What is the difference between extruded board and foam board?
Extruded board: Polystyrene foam is divided into two types: expandable EPS and continuous extruded XPS. Compared with EPS board, XPS board is the third generation of rigid foam insulation material. It overcomes EPS board in terms of technology. The complicated production process has the superior performance that EPS board cannot replace. It is made of polystyrene resin and other additives through an extrusion process with a continuous and uniform surface layer and a closed-cell honeycomb structure.
